Why did you join La Familia Sana Team?
Because I recognized the incredible value that La Familia Sana brings to the local community by addressing their needs and I wanted to support that work and mission.
What are you most proud of?
I am very proud to work with and be part of a community that has been remarkably resilient despite the difficulties we have experienced, from the wildfires to the pandemic.
What would you say to high-schooled aged Lizbeth?
I would tell her not to fear the future. You will have a family and children who will be your life as well as working your dream job. So don't stop dreaming and working hard.
If you could have dinner with 4 people, dead or alive, who would they be?
It would be a Mexican dinner style with tacos and tequila with Frida Kahlo, César Chávez, Martin Luther King Jr, and Tenoch Huerta. Together, these four individuals could inspire deep reflection on life and meaningful conversation about how we can work together to build a better world.
Welcome to the team Lizbeth!
